Campus Portal Login (UCD Access): PassportID Single Sign-On will provide a list of resources available for student, faculty and staff use.

Email/Webmail: Log in to webmail or learn tips and tricks.

VPN and Remote Access: Allows users to secure a network connection and access University resources (network drives, etc.) from off-campus or while connected to the secure CU Denver wireless network.

Technology Help

OIT Help Desk:  The OIT Help Desk is your main point of contact for your technology questions. Whether you need to request a new service or troubleshoot an issue with technology, OIT is here to help. 

Technology Setup and SupportAudiovisual support is available for course-related (free) and non-course-related (at cost) events. This includes help with any multimedia equipment including DVD/VCR, document cameras, PowerPoint presentations, audience response systems and any other audio and video recording devices. Technology Resources

Computer or Device Setup/SupportThe Desktop Services unit provide services to all faculty and staff including warranty and out-of-warranty support, systems set-up and repair, software installation, and hardware upgrade and installation assistance. Call (303)724-4357 (4-HELP) or submit a ticket for computer or device setup.

File Sharing/Storage: Staff are provided with 4GB of basic storage, typically via a home or departmental shared drive. Additional storage is available for a fee. Submit a file server request. In addition, 1TB of cloud storage is provided through OneDrive for Business. Learn more about saving and sharing files with OneDrive

Audiovisual EquipmentAV equipment can be checked out for classroom use or other events on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus and in CU owned buildings at CU Denver. There is generally no charge for equipment required for classes. For events, please make the equipment request three days in advance. On CU Anschutz, equipment can be picked up in ED2 North, Room 5124 or delivered for a fee. For CU owned buildings at CU Denver, please call (303)315-2055 to make arrangements.

Software: We offer free access to many software applications including OneDrive, Skype and other Microsoft Office products. Make sure to check for available downloads before making an unnecessary purchase. Other notable offerings to staff include:

  • Zoom: Communication and collaboration tool for video, audio and web conferencing and sharing.
  • Formstack: A flexible form-building and data collection tool.
  • Qualtrics: Online tool for creating and conducting online surveys.
