This 3-hour training series is aimed at instructors who are new to using technology at CU Denver. Sessions are offered on multiple dates during the first two weeks of the fall and spring semesters. A Community of Practice provides opportunities for teachers to engage and discuss teaching and learning with other teachers on campus in an intimate and relatively informal setting. Communities of practice meet periodically throughout the academic year and are dedicated to exploring a specific dimension or element of teaching and learning.
Previous session topics:

Our short courses explore a variety of themes related to teaching and learning. Once you self-enroll you’ll gain indefinite access to the course and its resources. Although there will not be a facilitator in this space, the courses include opportunities to engage asynchronously with other learners who pass through and to connect with a TIPS instructional designer at any time.
