Join us for interactive online sessions designed to help faculty utilize teaching with digital tools. These events provide practical insights, hands-on demonstrations, and best practices for integrating technology into the classroom. Whether you're exploring new edtech tools or looking to refine your digital teaching strategies, these sessions offer valuable support and resources.

Badge for Academic Technology Orientation

Academic Technology Orientation Series 

This 3-hour training series is aimed at instructors who are new to using technology at CU Denver. Sessions are offered on multiple dates during the first two weeks of the fall and spring semesters. There are four sessions in the series, and participants who complete all four sessions will earn a digital badge. Check the workshop and event calendar for upcoming sessions.

Community of Practice

A Community of Practice provides opportunities for teachers to engage and discuss teaching and learning with other teachers on campus in an intimate and relatively informal setting. Communities of practice meet periodically throughout the academic year and are dedicated to exploring a specific dimension or element of teaching and learning.

Short (Self-Paced) Courses

Our short courses explore a variety of themes related to teaching and learning. Once you self-enroll you’ll gain indefinite access to the course and its resources. Although there will not be a facilitator in this space, the courses include opportunities to engage asynchronously with other learners who pass through and to connect with a TIPS instructional designer at any time.

Our Lunch & Learn series is designed to provide faculty with appetizing opportunities to learn about innovations and best practices and discover concrete strategies for career success.  These informal gatherings provide an opportunity for educators to become more effective in their work along with opportunities to meet and network with colleagues from programs across campuses.
