Welcome to the Inclusive Teaching Community (ITC), a flexible professional development opportunity designed to support inclusive, student-centered teaching across CU Denver.
The Inclusive Teaching Community offers instructors a chance to connect and reflect on how to create learning environments where all students can thrive. Research shows that when students feel a strong sense of belonging—when they know their perspectives are valued and believe they can succeed—they are better positioned to learn and complete their degrees. This community supports campus priorities for student success by providing opportunities for instructors to design learning experiences that promote connection, engagement, and care. Its flexible format allows faculty to participate in ways that fit their individual schedules, workloads, interests, and needs.
