The Common Data Set (CDS) is a set of standards and definitions developed by publishers and the higher education community to improve the quality and consistency of institutional data across reports. The CDS is prepared each year after Fall end of term and contains mainly undergraduate information, including admissions, student enrollment, tuition and fees, financial aid, graduation rates, and more.
