The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) collects, analyzes and makes available data related to education in the U.S. and other nations. CU Denver provides information to NCES that is posted to the College Navigator website. Disability Resources and Services
The University of Colorado Denver is an educational institution that welcomes and supports a diverse student body. Disability Resources and Services is the designated office that maintains disability-related records, determines eligibility for academic accommodations, determines reasonable accommodations and develops plans for the provision of such accommodations for students attending the university.
Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy and Prevention Plan
As an institution that participates in the Federal Student Financial Aid Program, the university must provide information to students, faculty and staff to prevent drug and alcohol abuse. Information is required by the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989. Information about programming opportunities, assistance programs available to students and employees with suspected drug or alcohol problems and the possible repercussions of violating state and institutional drug and alcohol policies is available in the Drugs and Alcohol Policy in the Catalog. Institutional drug and alcohol rules are available in the academic policies and procedures section of our Undergraduate Catalog.
Privacy of Student Records
The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that is meant to protect the privacy of educational records. FERPA gives students the right to review educational records, seek to amend inaccurate information in their records and provide consent for the disclosure of their records. Student Complaint Processes
The university is committed to respecting all members of our university community and providing a quality educational experience for all students. We provide a Complaints & Grievances webpage, which includes policies and resources to assist students in reporting threatening or harmful behavior, or filing grievances or appeals. It is our objective to ensure that students' concerns and complaints are addressed fairly and resolved promptly. Complaints are usually the result of behavior that the student feels is unjust, inequitable, or creates an unnecessary hardship.
Textbook Information Textbook information is available in the UCDAccess portal alongside class schedules. Information includes ISBN number and price of required and recommended textbooks. The Tivoli Station is the bookstore that serves CU Denver.

Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is provided on an annual basis to all CU Denver students, faculty, staff and visitors in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, and is part of the University’s ongoing effort to inform you of the safety programs and services available and the steps you can take to maintain your safety and the security of others. The report also includes institutional policies on campus security and policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes and other matters.
The Annual Fire Safety Report discloses fire safety policies and fire statistics for on-campus student housing facilities. Among other things, the report discusses fire safety systems, fire drills, rules relating to portable electrical appliances, evacuation procedures and fire safety training.
