Faculty Career Milestones
The Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development, in partnership with the campus schools, colleges, and other administrative units, oversees the career milestones of faculty members at CU Denver.
Faculty Reappointment, Tenure, and Promotion
Faculty are subject to rigorous review processes during their life as a faculty member on the Denver campus. These processes are guided largely by departmental bylaws and criteria; however, the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development oversees campus policies and procedures to which all units adhere. This area will discuss campus guidelines and policies corresponding to these faculty events.
Post-Tenure Review
Post-tenure review is required of all tenured faculty every five years. These reviews are conducted by departments and dean's offices, and submitted to the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development.

This section outlines what a sabbatical is, how to apply for one, and the steps to take after the sabbatical assignment is completed.
