As a graduate of CU Denver, you are able to keep your access to more than 645 scholarly and professional journals through Auraria Library alumni access. Alumni may view these assets online, from any computer, using their library account.

Email for Life

As a CU Denver graduate you can continue accessing your ucdenver.edu email account for life! Keeping your email address up-to-date will ensure that you stay connected with the CU Denver alumni community, alumni events, and volunteer opportunities. Your ucdenver.edu account can also be forwarded to another email address of your choosing to remain active.

No action is required to claim your email for life, simply continue using the email or forward to another email of your choosing.  

If you do not use your ucdenver.edu email for a substantial amount of time, you will need to reset your password by selecting the button below and it will ask for your Student ID number. If you do not know your Student ID, contact either CU Denver Alumni or CU Denver IT Services Help Desk at 303-724-4357.

In order to protect our campus systems and your personal information, CU Denver has implemented new multi-factor authentication procedures, such as the "Duo" mobile application, that you may need to install in order to access your account.

Change Makers Program

Midlife is filled with transitions – not all of them easy. The good news is your experience, skills, and wisdom have never been greater – or more needed in the world.

CU Denver’s new Change Maker program offers the opportunity to return to campus for a semester-long course on navigating midlife transition and renewing your purpose. The program is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2024 semester.

CU Denver is proud to announce the launch of two LGBTQ+ courses, now available to everyone in the CU community. Lifelong Learners Program

Area residents who are 60 years of age or older may audit up to two classes at CU Denver on a non-credit/non-tuition basis. Acceptance in class will be determined by the instructor. A limit of two courses may be taken per semester.

We bridge the gap between your education and professional career by helping you gain the experience and training within the Healthcare IT space that you need. We are here to help you start your career in healthcare IT with paid training.

Optimum CareerPath is a unique approach compared to many colleges, universities, boot camps, or learning platforms. Traditionally, you pay to learn skills with no guarantee of a job at the end. Accepted applicants will be hired by Optimum and paid from the start of the 12-week training program. After completing training, trainees will join Optimum project teams serving hospital systems around the U.S.

The CU Denver Career Center serves alumni and current students by providing a full suite of career assistance, both online and in person.

Advising: Individuals who are within one year of graduation can access Career Center advising services free of charge. Alumni past one year of graduation may use Career Center resources for a small fee.

Job Search: Handshake is CU Denver's student and alumni job and internship portal.

CU License Plates

CU Denver alumni are invited to show their pride by purchasing a CU specialty license plate.

CU license plates are available for a $50 DMV fee as well as a minimum $50 donation to the CU Denver Alumni Scholarship Fund. The scholarship donation is required for each plate purchased within the same household.

The CU Advocates program is the official grassroots network of the University of Colorado. 

Anyone can be a CU Advocate. It is a growing network of people who are informed of opportunities and challenges that CU is facing.
