As a graduate of CU Denver, you are able to keep your access to more than 645 scholarly and professional journals through Auraria Library alumni access. Alumni may view these assets online, from any computer, using their library account.

Email for Life

As a CU Denver graduate you can continue accessing your ucdenver.edu email account for life! Keeping your email address up-to-date will ensure that you stay connected with the CU Denver alumni community, alumni events, and volunteer opportunities. Your ucdenver.edu account can also be forwarded to another email address of your choosing to remain active.

No action is required to claim your email for life, simply continue using the email or forward to another email of your choosing.  

If you do not use your ucdenver.edu email for a substantial amount of time, you will need to reset your password by selecting the button below and it will ask for your Student ID number. If you do not know your Student ID, contact either CU Denver Alumni Relations or CU Denver IT Services Help Desk at 303-724-4357.

In order to protect our campus systems and your personal information, CU Denver has implemented new multi-factor authentication procedures, such as the "Duo" mobile application, that you may need to install in order to access your account.

CU Denver Alumni provides complimentary cords to graduating students whose parents, grandparents, spouse/partner, siblings, and/or children are CU Denver alumni to wear at the commencement ceremony.

Start your wellness journey today with a membership that fits your schedule and fuels your progress. As a graduate of CU Denver, you have access to this 85,000 square foot center featuring a 38’ climbing wall, swimming pool, fitness classes, gym courts, weight and endurance training spaces, and more.

Alumni and students who paid the Wellness & Recreation Service fee during the fall 2015 to spring 2018 semesters will have access retroactively to the number of semesters they paid. Retroactive memberships must be activated by August 1, 2023. Each semester is equivalent to 4 months of access. Once the retroactive membership has been activated, it will run until it expires, and is non-transferable and non-refundable. Retroactive memberships can be activated at the welcome desk.

Continuing Education Opportunities

CU Denver has continuing and professional education program offerings through the schools and colleges. Each school or college has varying continuing education opportunities depending on the fields they serve. Explore the list of continuing education administration professionals to find your best point of contact.

Lifelong Learners Program

Area residents who are 60 years of age or older may audit up to two classes at CU Denver on a non-credit/non-tuition basis. Acceptance in class will be determined by the instructor. A limit of two courses may be taken per semester.


CAREER SERVICES

Career Center at LynxConnect

The CU Denver Career Center serves alumni and current students by providing a full suite of career assistance, both online and in person.

Advising: Individuals that are within one year of graduation can access Career Center advising services free of charge. Alumni past one year of graduation may use Career Center resources for a small fee.

Job Search: Handshake is CU Denver's student and alumni job and internship portal.

The Business Career Connections (BCC) offers career coaching, networking, job opportunities, and professional development training to all Business School alumni for life.

CAM Career Network

The College of Arts & Media (CAM) has created a job posting listserv to communicate opportunities with interest alumni. CAM is often approached by community organizations and partners looking to hire alumni to perform freelance work. These opportunities range from photography, to website design, to musicians, and more!

CU Specialty License Plate Sample

CU License Plates

CU Denver alumni are invited to show their pride by purchasing a CU specialty license plate.

CU license plates are available for a $50 DMV fee as well as a minimum $50 donation to the CU Denver Alumni Scholarship Fund. The scholarship donation is required for each plate purchased within the same household.


CU South Denver

CU South Denver Discounts

Located at 10035 S Peoria St Lone Tree, CO 80134, the CU South Denver campus was established via a generous gift of real estate from the Liniger family to the University of Colorado in 2014.

CU Denver alumni have access to 20% off all events hosted by CU South Denver. Book online, over the phone, or at the welcome desk using code CUALUMNI. Events include Family Fun Day, Movie & Martinis, and EDUTALKS.

CU Advocates

The CU Advocates program is the official grassroots network of the University of Colorado. 

Anyone can be a CU Advocate. It is a growing network of people who are informed of opportunities and challenges that CU is facing.

CU Advocates are empowered to influence public perception and policy affecting CU. CU Advocates take the initiative to attend educational programs to become more informed on and engaged with areas important to CU, the state and public higher education. CU Advocates are encouraged to promote CU's value and opportunities.
