Course: INTB 6800 - Special Topics: Global Payments in Cross-Border E-Commerce
Stacey Espinosa was a Senior Director at Visa where she led the data and analytics strategy for Visa Direct in North America and Latin America. Visa Direct is Visa’s instant payments service and fastest growing product. In this position, Ms. Espinosa focused on bridging the gap between the business and technical worlds and using data and analytics to optimize Visa Direct’s approval rates for cardholders worldwide. In November 2021, Stacey joined the Artificial Intelligence Team (AI) at Visa as Product Manager of VisaNet + AI (Artificial Intelligence). Her direct experience working at Visa, leading global teams and transitioning into AI, make her a value-added subject matter expert on digital globalization, AI, and global payments. Ms. Espinosa is a frequent speaker/lecturer in forums and workshops to educate people about the digital transformation in payments and how this transformation is impacting economies worldwide. In August 2021, Ms. Espinosa was a featured speaker at Georgia State University CIBER and CU CIBER IB Pedagogy Workshop on Global Payments and Cross-Border E-Commerce.Course: INTB 6600 - Blockchain and Emerging Technologies
Julie Lockwood is Associate Partner with IBM Consulting with oversight of the company’s technology platforms and supply chain assets. She manages products for IBM built on IBM Cloud and has led IBM initiatives on Blockchain in the global supply chain. The technology her team builds services the consumer-packaged goods, manufacturing & distribution, food processing, and medical and telecom industries. Ms. Lockwood leads a diverse, global team of 30 plus team members. Ms. Lockwood is an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management (CSCMP) and has served as a local chapter President and Treasurer.
