About the Workshop

For the past 15 years, CU Denver’s Institute for International Business Education and Research (IIB-CIBER) has conducted international business workshops on the design and development of the international entrepreneurship course, including leading the International Entrepreneurship thematic session in Georgia State University CIBER’s IB Pedagogy Workshop.

Drawing on our experience at CU Denver’s IIB-CIBER and Business School, we will highlight approaches for enhancing the digital globalization content of the international entrepreneurship course and Master of Science in International Business program. We will focus on two key topics: (1) global e-commerce and (2) Blockchain and Emerging Technologies impacting international entrepreneurship.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • Approaches for incorporating new content in the international entrepreneurship course, focusing on global e-commerce and Blockchain technologies.
  • Approaches for developing multiple programs and courses in global e-commerce targeted to IB and IE students, as well as credentialing/certificate courses for small and medium-sized enterprises.
  • Perspectives of leading practitioners on global e-commerce and blockchain technologies and how these could inform the design and development of the international entrepreneurship course.
