Teaching Enhancement Grant

Support projects that seek to develop innovations in teaching or enhance a faculty member's pedagogical practice. 

‚ÄčThe Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning wants to provide faculty an opportunity to enhance their teaching, make an impact in their classroom, and help students succeed. By providing grants that impact faculty teaching, we hope to spread the wealth of knowledge throughout our campus community. We believe you can make a difference through research and projects, which is why we continue to offer grants that will help you do so.

Important Details

- Funding Limit: up to $3,000

- All faculty members (IRC faculty, lecturers, tenure-track, tenured, etc.) Lecturers are required to submit a letter of support from the department chair/program head.

- Denver Campus faculty only

- Activities must be carried out and funds must be expended during the academic year before May 1st in the year awarded.

Funded Activities

Attending/Presenting at teaching/learning conference, workshop, or short-course (non-credit), inviting an outside expert to give a lecture or workshop related to teaching/learning, hiring a research assistant for a teaching/learning project, materials costs related to teaching, course development focused on funding priorities.

Funds are payable as PD funds only.

Seek to develop digital pedagogies

- Undertake scholarly activity focused on teaching and learning in higher education
