A wide range of Adobe Creative Cloud software and tools for graphic design, video editing, web development, image editing, and more are available to faculty, staff, and students through our license agreement with Adobe. The Adobe Creative Campus program community is about innovation and collaboration and the university has access to Adobe apps such as Photoshop, After Effects, Acrobat (does not include Adobe Sign), Illustrator, and other featured products. 

Getting started

• Cost for current faculty and staff is $45 per year, payable through your department's speedtype, and renewed annually on July 1. View a list of available products under the license agreement.
• There is no cost for active students.
• This software may be installed on up to two devices. Information about system requirements for Creative Cloud applications is available here.

Canvas is a web-based learning management system or LMS. It is used at CU Denver and CU Anschutz to access and manage online course learning materials, increase student engagement, and promote student success.

The NameCoach Canvas integration enables students and instructors to record their names so that others in the course can hear how to say their names correctly. The voice-recorded pronunciations are available to faculty and students. NameCoach is enabled in all Canvas courses by default.

Turnitin is a software application designed to uphold academic integrity and support the development of original thinking through a robust feedback system. Integrated directly into Canvas, Turnitin allows you to check student work for plagiarism, provide feedback, and improve writing skills.

CU Denver and CU Anschutz is now piloting with Hypothesis, a social annotation tool installed directly in Canvas. Adding Hypothesis to readings in Canvas supports student success by placing active discussion right on top of course readings, enabling students and teachers to add comments and start conversations in the margins of texts. 

 During this pilot, you can use Hypothesis with all of your courses and your students. Hypothesis will be hosting several webinars on using the tool. Register today!

Zoom is a web conferencing platform at CU Denver, simply log in with your CU Denver credentials, set up your pronouns, and set a virtual background if you feel the need! The ability to chat, screen sharing, and groups make it a strong alternative to in-person learning.
