Financial Aid

Financial aid can help you pay for your degree. It consists of grantswork-studyloans, and scholarships, all of which help to make your college education more affordable.

The process of receiving financial aid starts with submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is the standardized application developed by the U.S. Department of Education. Financial aid is awarded based on need, which is determined in part by annual income. We recommend you (or your parents) file federal tax returns as early as possible in order to be better prepared.

The information you submit via the FAFSA will allow the university to determine how it can help you meet your financial needs. To continue to receive financial aid throughout your student journey, you must submit the FAFSA each year.
