The annual CU Denver Block Party is a free and public back-to-school event that connects the campus community with city partners. This year’s event will be held on Aug. 21, 2025, from noon to 3 p.m. on Lawrence Street between Speer Boulevard and 14th Street, in what is referred to as the university’s “Education Corridor.”
Now entering its 13th year, the CU Denver Block Party has rapidly become a must-attend event—we’re expecting more than 3,000 people—for anyone who lives, works, or studies downtown. The Block Party showcases the endless opportunities that CU Denver has to offer.

We are excited to invite departments, colleges, and schools to participate in and host a booth at this year’s event. If your department, school, or college would like to participate, please fill out the registration form below by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1. Please note there is limited booth space, so we will approve spots on a rolling basis to those who offer fun, engaging, and interactive booth activities.
