CU Denver Graduate at Commencement

Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

Registration was February 18 – April 13, 9:59 p.m. MST. You have two additional opportunities to rent regalia:

  • Cap & Gown Pick-up April 28 and 29 in the Terrace Room (Lawrence Street, 2nd floor).
  • May 17, 1-hour prior to your ceremony at the Herff Jones table

Graduates should arrive 90 minutes before their ceremony. There is limited parking and all students will be required to go through a magnetometer or be wanded upon entrance into the facility.

Visit the Herff Jones team during this time to order your CU Denver class ring and receive special deals. In-person ordering and sizing will be available at the event.

Register for the ceremony and order your cap and gown

Check your CU Denver email for regular updates and information

Cap & Gown pick up

Monday, April 28 (10am-5 pm) and Tuesday, April 29 (10 am-7 pm) at the Lawrence Street Center (Terrace room, 2nd Floor).

Honor cords, first generation stoles, and philanthropy cords will also be available here!

Day of check list

  1. Arrival time 
    1. Morning ceremony, 8:00 a.m. 
    2. Afternoon Ceremony, 1:00 p.m.
  2. Name Reader Card 
    1. Bring it with you if you picked up your regalia, or check in with your college/school table if you had your regalia shipped to your home. 
    2. To ensure your name is pronounced correctly during the ceremony, refer to this phonetic spelling guide when filling out your Name Reader Card.
  3. Wear your cap and gown to the ceremony 
  4. Check in with your school or college
  5. Line up with your fellow classmates
  6. Enjoy the celebration!
  7. Return your regalia after the ceremony at the Denver Coliseum 
  8. Check your email for GradImages updates (Pictures!)
  9. Diplomas will be mailed 6-8 weeks after the ceremony
