Faculty Fellows

We offer fellowships to faculty who are motivated to move the teaching and learning mission of the university forward. Faculty Fellows come from all schools/colleges and all faculty roles (Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Sr. Instructors, or Instructors, and Tenure Track or IRC faculty are all welcome!) Our fellows promote and share evidence-based best practices in teaching and learning with their colleagues by organizing and playing a strong leadership role in our programs.

Faculty Fellows play a leadership role in CETL programming and serve as liaisons between the departments and faculty. Over the two-year fellowship appointment, they provide the experience, creativity, and energy that helps support the ongoing renewal of teaching at CU Denver.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve in a leadership role by facilitating and/or managing CETL.
Support strategic university-wide teaching/learning initiatives.
Serve as advocates for CETL activities and communicate about programs to faculty.
Develop and participate in CETL programs over a two-year term.
Serve as representatives to departments/schools/colleges and communicate with these constituencies about programs.
Provide input and perspective about faculty needs.
Complete Coaching Conversations and Classroom Support Conversations as needed.
Participate in New Faculty Orientation to welcome and guide new faculty
Draft and update teaching and learning resources for website and CETL Newsletter, as needed.

Full-time faculty are welcome to apply (IRC, tenure-track, and tenured faculty)
Faculty from all disciplines/schools/colleges
$2,000/year professional development stipend (total $4,000 over two year period)
Meet and learn with faculty from across campus
Serve as a campus leader
Fulfill a leadership role by facilitating programs and services
