Huber collaborates on new dark matter results

5/2/2013
Martin Huber
DENVER - Martin Huber, professor of physics and director of the integrated sciences program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, is a collaborator on the Cryogenic Dark Matter Experiment, which announced at the American Physical Society meeting last weekend that it has seen possible hints of dark-matter particles in its latest result. The result is not statistically significant enough to claim the discovery, or even evidence of dark matter, but it is interesting enough to warrant further investigation. You can read a statement from the collaboration on the CDMS website.

News of this finding also has been published recently in Nature News, Symmetry and Fermilab Today.
