Communication plays a critical role before, during and after any emergency or disaster. The
university has partnered with Rave Wireless to provide an emergency
notification text and voice-message system capable of delivering
messages directly to you should conditions develop on or near our
locations that pose a threat of imminent danger.
The University of Colorado Denver l Anschutz Medical
Campus Emergency Notification System (ENS), provided via Rave Mobile Safety, has
transitioned to an OPT-OUT service for all faculty, staff and enrolled students
at both the University of Colorado Denver and Anschutz Medical campuses.
Historically, this service has been an opt-in process, in
which registrants manually sign up for the service through the Rave Mobile
Safety website. Chancellor Don Elliman
has determined that this service will automatically be provided to all campus
constituents upon hire or upon enrollment to the University. All employees and students automatically will
receive emergency alerts and campus closure notifications via your
university-issued email address.
In order to receive text and/or voice message alerts from the Emergency Notification System, click the appropriate link below to add (or update) your cell phone contact information in your student or faculty/staff CU Denver Portal:

Note that your cellular phone provider may charge a per-text message fee for the delivery of emergency notifications to your cell phone. Therefore, we encourage you to log into your Rave account to confirm your contact information and choose your notification preferences. Within Rave you may add additional e-mail addresses, pager numbers, mobile numbers and landline numbers for text and/or voice alerting.
