Mailbox Size Limits and Size Management
Due to the need to manage our data center storage capacity, we have limits to the size of our mailboxes. Exceeding these limits will affect your ability to send and receive email messages. On rare occasions IT Services may allow a user to exceed these limits but it will be on a case-by-case basis and out of a campus business necessity.
- 550MB - The Exchange server will send you daily notifications informing you “Your mailbox is almost full”.
- 600MB – The Exchange server will prohibit your account from sending email messages.
- 700MB – The Exchange server will prohibit your account from sending messages and incoming messages will be rejected.
