Career Family Job Summary: Jobs in this career family are responsible for designing, developing, and delivering educational content to enhance learning outcomes and/or academic research to advance knowledge and innovation. These positions require strong communication skills, academic expertise, and a commitment to advancing knowledge through teaching and research.
Minimum Qualifications: Terminal Degree (Doctorate, JD, DBA, etc.)
At least five (5) academic years of experience in higher education; teaching while a student will satisfy teaching requirement if serving as the primary instructor.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching in a higher education environment in related field to teaching assignment.
Principal Instructors should have an expertise in one or more of the related to teaching assignment.
Experience in online or hybrid delivery. The applicant shows potential for teaching effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner, across various modalities; ability to effectively listen and share relevant information, anticipate problems, and offer suggestions for resolution, where appropriate.
Ability to establish and respond to, as well as, balance multiple work priorities, follow through, and meet established deadlines.
