Career Family Job Summary: Jobs in this career family are responsible for designing, developing, and delivering educational content to enhance learning outcomes and/or academic research to advance knowledge and innovation. These positions require strong communication skills, academic expertise, and a commitment to advancing knowledge through teaching and research.
Minimum Qualifications: A PhD degree or equivalent doctorate degree from an accredited college or university awarded in a relevant discipline At least 3 years of experience in related field/discpline. Published work in peer-reviewed journals.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner, across various modalities; ability to effectively listen and share relevant information, anticipate problems, and offer suggestions for resolution, where appropriate. Ability to establish and respond to, as well as, balance multiple work priorities, follow through, and meet established deadlines. Intentionally contribute to a respectful, equitable, positive, and professional workplace. Commitment to enhancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the field/discipline through research, teaching, and service. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. Effective critical thinking skills.
