Affinity Groups

CU Denver’s affinity groups support the institution’s goals of making education work for all and a people-centered best place to work through voluntary association based on identity, background, interest, allyship and/or goals. Affinity groups will contribute to this work by providing community engagement and educational opportunities relevant to their communities and by supporting professional development of their members. Membership in affinity groups is open to all CU Denver employees and there is no limit on group size.

Inclusive Excellence Council (IEC)

The IEC is comprised of Associate Deans and Unit Leaders from each of the colleges, schools and business units. It is a standing council that was formed in Jan 22, 2022. Its charge stems from our 2030 Strategic Plan to make education work for all and to be known as a people-centered best place to work.
