The Health Professionals Fair at the Tivoli attracted hundreds who wanted to weigh their career options and explore health field alternatives. With dozens of health care representatives, narrowing down a career choice wasn’t exactly made easy.
The UC Denver Health Professions Advising Office hosted the fair Monday, Feb. 21. The event was sponsored by the Anschutz Medical Campus Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the UC Denver Career Center.
Representatives from a variety of professional health schools met with prospective students interested in health careers. Anschutz Medical Campus schools represented are medicine- MD and Osteopathic, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, and others. Also attending are reps from Test Prep Services and volunteer organizations.
Other participants ranged from the American University of Antigua for Allopathic Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, to National College of Natural Medicine for Graduate and Post-Bac Programs for Naturopathic, Oriental Medicine, to U.S. Army Medical Recruiting for Dental, Nursing, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Osteopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Scholarship & Special Programs, Veterinary Medicine.
