Travis Leiker

Alumni Relations

Travis Leiker is assistant director of alumni relations at the Anschutz Medical Campus.  In this role, Travis is responsible for providing board management for the Medical Alumni Association; planning and coordinating alumni events and programs for the Anschutz Medical Campus schools and colleges; assist with the production of alumni communications; and other essential stakeholder relationships.

Travis is a Kansas native and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of Colorado Denver.  Prior to joining the Anschutz Medical Campus, Travis was Associate Director of Development at Conservation Colorado—a statewide nonprofit dedicated to environmental policy and advocacy—where he managed all fundraising, special events, and relationships associated with individual and institutional donors.  His past work experience also includes serving as Director of Philanthropic Partnerships at Community Shares, National Development Director at the White House Project, and worked for philanthropist and entrepreneur Jared Polis.

Outside his professional and academic endeavors, he enjoys many civic and volunteer activities including serving as chair of the board of directors for the NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado Foundation and Conservation Colorado Education Fund, membership on the Dean's Advisory Board at Colorado Women's College, and volunteering for animal advocacy and welfare organizations.
