Tonia Mosley

Bursar's Office

​​Tonia Mosley is the Collections Analyst for Student Debt Management in the Bursar’s Office on the Denver Campus, where she has worked since 2011.  This is her second year on Staff Council, and she is currently serving as Co- Vice Chair.  She is a member of University of Colorado Staff Council (UCSC Staff Council) which serves the University system-wide, and is Treasurer of the Colorado Association of Administrators of Student Loans and Accounts Receivable (CAASLAR) which services colleges and universities, both state and private, throughout the region.

Tonia was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa.  She attended Augustana College for two years, and the University of Iowa for three years, graduating from the University of Iowa with dual major degrees in Spanish and Psychology, and a minor in pre-medicine.  Tonia played softball during her college career, holding the position of pitcher.  She met her husband at the University of Iowa and moved to Denver in 2000 and was married in 2001.

During her marriage of 12 years, Tonia has had two daughters; a two and a half and an eight year old, and is expecting her third in January 2014.

Her hobbies include cooking, playing with, and doing crafts with her kids, reading to her children, playing softball, hiking, snow and water skiing, teaching Sunday School, providing meals to the needy in her church and the homeless in her community, and spending time with her family.  Tonia also greatly enjoys watching hockey.

Tonia chose to be on Staff Council to contribute to the well-being of fellow co-workers, the University; both locally and system-wide, and the community as a whole.
