Congratulations to Jesse Walklett
Jesse is a Facilities Management Supervisor & Utility Outage Coordinator with Facilities Management and has been with the University for 10 years. Jesse always keeps us appraised of any utility interruptions in our buildings.
Jesse’s supervisor, Mike Sherman, Facilities Manager said, “Jesse exemplifies team play and is a role model for our department with his excellent customer service skills and dedication to the mission of the University and department. Jesse exhibits a very high level of self motivation. He constantly strives for the better way for himself, his staff, and the department and is selfless in his dedication to the University. Jesse always puts the customer’s needs at the forefront of his daily routine, regardless of the situation.”
“Jesse continually presents his best efforts for the University and his customers. He serves as an example in his work efforts and personal life, and has been a mentor to Interns in the Facilities Training Program. [He is] outstanding in his management of the work in his area, going above and beyond his normal role and taking on large projects, etc.” Mike Boroviak, Director of Facilities Management commented.
More kudos include: Adjusting his schedule to perform utility outages and responding to emergency situations, and being a key knowledge resource to get systems back into operation when emergency utility services have impacted UCD campuses.
We appreciate you Jesse!
