Congratulations to Mindy Carrothers
Congratulations to Mindy Carrothers, winner of the August 2012 Classified Employee of the Month. The hard work and dedication that Mindy has given to the University and those she serves has made a big impact on those around her. Hired in 2000, she began working as a State Classified employee in 2009, and is a General Professional II for the School of Education and Human Development, Extended Studies.
Kevin Poole, Program Manager with the School of Education and Human Development, Continuing and Professional Education said, “Mindy manages an extraordinary amount of work and requests from the various projects she supports. Most recently she has assisted with a few summer programs and has continued to focus on preparing for fall term. Mindy is warm-hearted open to new responsibilities, and brightens up the room when she’s around. She is able to bring levity to stressful situations and steps up when demands increase. Mindy has taken on marketing and communications for our office and has created numerous processes and templates to more effectively and professionally communicate with current and prospective students, instructors, and partners.”
Lindsay Harn, with Continuing and Professional Education, says of Mindy, “She goes above and beyond for any request she is given. She is always on top of her tasks and is willing to assist anyone should they need her help or advice on their work. Mindy is always smiling and has a great disposition. She sets a great example of what a good ethic should be and is fun to work with. She is always hard at work on new ideas to market CPE and CRUE programs to a wider audience, and has a great eye for design and promoting.”
“Mindy does great work coordinating a wide range of responsibilities while being a great team-player. I admire her willingness to help others and her positive attitude. She listens to others and provides help whenever she can. She is professional and fun to work with at the same time. She worked hard to develop and implement processes for CAPER admin services, and coordinates work requests among different centers and projects with great professionalism.” ~ Bolormaa Begzsuren, Grants & Contracts Coordinator, CAPER.
Our hats are off to you, Mindy, for being a leader in professionalism and dedication for the University of Colorado Denver.
