EPA - Responses to Questions/Ideas

Thank you for your input!

Question - A few years ago the Chancellor's office offered limited funds for exempt professional's to attend a conference or class - the Employee development program award - does this still exist and if so how do I access information and applications? Many thanks!

  • Response - The program was called the Chancellor’s Employee Development Program, and offered small “scholarships” to employees for training or development expenses, on an application basis.  Effective FY10, the program was put on hiatus due to university budgetary issues.  There are no current plans to re-open the program based on the continuing budgetary constraints.

Question - Was a final decision reached re: EPA annual salary increases? If so, could you post the details?
Question - If we can't get raises, can we at least get a free RTD/bus pass to get to work?

  • Salary increases were recently announced and EPA has added some information about it under "Hot Topics".  The Chancellor also just sent out a communication about the salary increasese on 10/21/2011.

Question - How do I join EPA?

  • The admission to this assembly is free.  You just have to be an Exempt Professional at the university.
