Three Ballot Issues:
1) The University of Colorado Denver Office of Student Life and Student Government Association are proposing the establishment of a Club Sports and Mascot Fee to be implemented Fall 2013. If approved by students, the fees would be utilized to fund the development of competitive club sports programs such as volleyball, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, cheer and dance. Additionally, the University may seek opportunities to develop Club Sport teams that would compete in local and regional competitions. The mascot fee would fund the operations for the mascot.
The students of the University of Colorado Denver, Denver Campus, approve a student fee of $8.90 per semester to support the advancement of Club Sports? (Please note that acceptance or rejection shall in no way affect the entitlement of students to participate in other duly authorized student or campus organizations).
2) Shall the students of the University of Colorado Denver, Denver Campus approve a student fee of $1.10 per semester to support the Lynx Mascot?
3) Voting also will be conducted regarding RTD (Regional Transportation District - bus and light rail):
Students will asked about the yearly vote of whether or not to keep the RTD pass for the 2013-14 school year. The RTD Referendum determines if the bus/light rail program continues for next academic year. The referendum will be conducted online from Monday, April 8 through Sunday, April 14, 2013
