See if nondegree admission is right for you

THE ANSCHUTZ MEDICAL CAMPUS

College of Nursing

Through the Professional Development Program in the College of Nursing, courses are available to qualified students on a nondegree basis.  For more information and to request enrollment to the College of Nursing Professional Development Program, please visit the Office of Lifelong Learning website or call (303) 724-1372. Do not apply for non-degree or continuing or professional education admission at the Denver Campus.

DENVER CAMPUS

Do you want to explore the University of Colorado Denver before applying for formal admission? Would you like to complete a course for professional development or to transfer to another institution? If so, nondegree admission may be right for you.

What we look for

Nondegree admission is an option for students who wish to enroll in courses through the traditional Denver Campus program of instruction.  If you wish to register for courses through the Division of Continuing and Professional Education, do not apply for Denver Campus nondegree admission. Visit The Division of Continuing and Professional Education information page, then follow the Apply Now link to submit a Continuing and Professional Education application.

To apply for nondegree admission, you must be at least 20 years of age and have an overall college gpa of at least 2.0 for fall or spring term.  If you are under age 20, you may apply for summer only.  Because of significant financial and academic implications of nondegree admission, be sure to read Important Information for Nondegree Students before clicking the Apply tab above to get started with your nondegree application.

How to apply

If you wish to register for courses through the Anschutz Medical Campus College of Nursing or through the Denver Campus Division of Continuing and Professional Education, click the “Get Ready” tab above for application and enrollment instructions.
