CU Denver is joining universities around the country in celebrating National Transfer Student Week, which strives to recognize and bring awareness to the experience and journey of our transfer students. From October 17-21, we are hosting a series of events and opportunities for you to connect with other CU Denver transfer students, learn about the resources available to you here, and celebrate life as a Lynx. Transfer students are a vital part of the Lynx community, comprising half of the undergraduate student body, their unique perspectives help make CU Denver a better, more inclusive institution for all.

As a transfer student, it's hard to know when and how to "plug in" to opportunities that will have the highest impact on your college experience. Help us kick-off National Transfer Student week at our Transfer Student Reception and learn how you can “plug in” to classes, resources, programs, and events. Learn from others that know what it's like to navigate a college campus as a transfer student and hear about ways you can participate in unique programs that align with your specific academic and career goals. Reception is Monday, October 17 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in Wartgow Room, Student Commons.

Thinking about transferring to CU Denver? What’s next? Please join us for this informative and fun presentation that covers what I should be thinking about as a transfer student to CU Denver. Two veteran advisors, John Patsey and Terri Winston, from the Center for Undergraduate Exploration and Advising will talk about what it means to transfer to CU Denver. They will discuss credit evaluation, major exploration, degree completion, next steps, and how to thrive at CU Denver.
