Through this minor, a student can focus on the fundamentals of nonprofit management. The minor will be relevant for students who pursue jobs in fields in which nonprofit organizations play a significant role, such as psychology, public health, arts and culture, environmental studies, education and human development, and ethnic studies. 

Program Requirements

  • A minor in Nonprofit Management requires 15 credit hours of course work.
  • A maximum of 6 transfer credits may be applied to the minor.
  • Students must receive a minimum of a C grade in each course applied to satisfy the minor. 

Required Courses:

Students must complete the two required courses below, totaling 6 credit hours. All course descriptions can be found in the Undergraduate Academic Catalog.

  • PUAD 3110: Seminar in Nonprofit Management (3 credits)
  • PUAD 4140: Nonprofit Financial Management (3 credits)
