Gift Planning

Make the gift of a lifetime! Consider including CU Denver in your estate plans.

When you include CU Denver in your estate plans, you can design and create a future legacy endowment that will make a lasting impact on students' lives. There are many planned giving options available, and an ideal, easy, and revocable way to accomplish this legacy gift is to include CU Denver as a beneficiary in your TIAA or PERA retirement account.

Your planned gift can establish a named, endowed scholarship that will last in perpetuity, growing with the university’s endowment and providing scholarships far into the future. A gift officer will work with you to explore the planned giving option that’s best for you, including wills, trusts, and beneficiary designations.

We will work with you to define the criteria for your named scholarship, documenting your intent in a Testamentary Fund Agreement.
By taking part in this opportunity, you will become a member of the Heritage Society, an exclusive group of donors who make a commitment to the future of the University of Colorado through planned gifts.
