Designed to help CU Denver students, faculty, and
sta explore their personal wellness in regards to work
and school. Attendees will learn about workplace
wellness, how to personally implement wellness
strategies, and also create a wellness plan for future use.
This workshop is designed to help CU Denver students, faculty, staff and alums asses their work preference inventory. Workshop participants will learn about their preferred communication style, how to work with those that have differing communications styles, while creating a heightened level of self-awareness.
Attendees will learn strategies and tips to feel confident and
competent doing a professional interview. Learn how to dazzle and impress an interview board, and successfully portray your professional self.
This group is designed to provide support,
success throughout their internship experience.
This is a possible Extra Credit opportunity for
students earning internship academic credit.

Strong Interest Inventory (SII)
Don’t know your interests? Or - too many areas of interest and need to narrow it down? This
workshop will explore how your interests are relatable to careers and over 130 occupations!
You will also receive your 10 page personalized SII report!
One hour introductory workshop we will explore:
- What is Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and why it is so important
- How EQ differs from IQ
- What the 5 basic emotional and social competencies are
- A couple of fun exercises
- Next steps and resources
One hour follow-up workshop we will explore:
- The importance of self-awareness to emotional intelligence
- Strategies for increasing your self-awareness
