High School Students

It's never too soon to prepare for college

You're a planner. That's why you're here - you're thinking about college. Congratulations, you're taking the first concrete steps toward your future. But whether you know it or not, the fact is you have been preparing for college your entire life! Curiosity about the world around you, your family heritage and early experiences—even creative play—have helped you become the student you are today.

You've been working hard to position yourself for success, and we want to help by giving you some things to be thinking about as you work through the rest of your high school career:

Why start at square one?

Earn college credit while you're still in high school, and be that much closer to your future!

The High School District Concurrent Enrollment Program is a Colorado program in which tuition up to the community college resident rate is paid by your high school district and credit can be considered toward BOTH high school and college graduation requirements!

And the CU Denver High School Concurrent Enrollment Program allows you to take college courses on your own which are not considered toward high school graduation requirements, but do count toward your degree!
