MS in International Business

Master of Science in International Business

Pursue a dynamic career in global business

An MS in International Business (MSIB) from the University of Colorado Denver opens opportunities for dynamic careers in global business. MSIB students gain cutting-edge knowledge and skills to help them conduct business across borders.

The University of Colorado Denver is the only school in Colorado, and one of only 33 nationwide, granted the U.S. Department of Education’s prestigious designation as a Center for International Business Education Research (CIBER), an honor earned in large part through the excellence of the international business program.

Our innovative MSIB curriculum combines solid grounding in business foundations, knowledge of international business environments and operations, and proficiency in a foreign language.

Our degree emphasizes action learning such as live case studies, international consulting projects and internships, and study-abroad trips.

CIBER Quality

The University of Colorado Denver is the only Colorado university, and one of just 30 universities nationwide, granted the U.S. Department of Education's prestigious designation as a Center for International Business Education Research (CIBER), an honor earned in large part through the excellence of the international business program.

Flexibility

In your degree

A dual degree with an MBA and MS allows you to obtain the generalist MBA degree and the specialization of the MS with fewer courses than it would take to earn them separately. This is accomplished by unifying required and elective courses common to both programs. Your advisor will help you with these details.

Additionally, you may combine two Business School MS degrees for in depth knowledge within multiple business areas. Please note, you must be admitted to both programs. A graduate advisor can help you with these details.

In your schedule

Classes are held in the evenings and online so students can attend classes at times that work for them. Students can blend campus and online courses within a semester if the online option is available for your program. Our class sizes are smaller so students can learn from expert practitioner faculty and network with other seriously motivated students. Students develop relationships that last for a lifetime.
