    Jane Hansberry is the immediate past Managing Director of Think 360 Arts Complete Education.  Dr. Hansberry teaches at University of Colorado School of Public Affairs and in the Buechner Institute of Governance Certified Public Managers program.  From 2009-2013 she was a faculty member at the University of Denver’s University College in its Masters in Arts Management program.  Hansberry’s areas of research include the economic impact of arts and culture, arts education and arts integration, nonprofit and public sector governance and organizational development, regional cultural asset districts, and the facilitation of collaboration.  Currently Dr. Hansberry is engaged in research on behalf of Colorado Creative Industries and the Colorado Department of Education.  She is surveying the “state” of arts education in Colorado public schools.  Additionally she is working with Colorado Creative Industries’ Creative Districts program with several towns and municipalities across the state.
    Prior to her doctoral studies Hansberry served from 1990-1999 as the District Administrator for the metropolitan Denver Scientific and Cultural Facilities District, a national prototype for arts and culture funding.  Organized as a special sales tax district, the SCFD in 2014 distributed more than $45 million in grants to approximately 350 arts and science organizations in metro Denver.  Dr. Hansberry worked in local government and human services in rural Colorado in the 1980’s.  She was the founding executive director of a women’s resource center in rural Colorado and was a founder of services to victims and survivors of domestic abuse.  From 1983-1987 Hansberry served as the General Manager of the Fraser Valley Metro Recreation District in Winter Park, CO and in that capacity was a member of the management team that built Pole Creek Golf Course. 
   Dr. Hansberry has served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees, including Denver’s Rape Awareness and Assistance Program; Denver Comprehensive Plan 2010; Denver Schools Budget Advisory Committee; Denver Metro Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.  She has been involved in developing ski racing programs for skiers with disabilities, and has been involved with Winter Park’s National Sports Center for the Disabled as a disabled athlete and instructor.  Dr. Hansberry holds a doctorate in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from the University Of Pittsburgh Graduate School Of Public and International Affairs, a Master’s of Public Administration from the University Of Colorado School Of Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from the University of Massachusetts.
