The Meanings and Implications of Crises in Policy Processes

On June 27, 2011 the School of Public Affairs (SPA)  and the Buechner Institute for Governance (BIG) held a workshop featuring presentations on crises and the policy process. The workshop explored how crises -- from floods and earthquakes to terrorism and social unrest -- are interpreted across the globe and how they affect politics and public policy.
