Erin Fiene has a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from the University of Colorado Denver, a Bachelors in Organizational Communication from Ohio University and is an overall food enthusiast. Her Master’s work focused on the interconnectedness of health and the built environment. Her areas of concentration included Urban Systems such as: food, transportation, access, equity, and policy, as a part of community and economic development. Erin is a Project coordinator for the Colorado Center for Community Development, working on the multiple studies aimed at understanding and creating healthier environments, educational spaces, and equitable systems of accessibility. As a planner, food-systems analyst, garden leader, healthy corner store revitalizer, researcher, food producer and consumer, she believes that every community should be equipped with options and the ability to choose a healthier lifestyle.
