The Continuing Engineering Education Program (CEEP) is the extended studies and professional development division for the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Colorado Denver (UCD). We primarily supply non-credit curriculum to further develop our students' lifetime careers.
As well as providing our extensive Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) Examination Refresher course, our program also offers multiple Professional Engineer (PE) Examination Refresher courses in the disciplines of Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Power, and Structural (SE), as well as Depth Refresher courses in Construction, Geotechnical, Structural, Transportation, and Water/Environmental.
In addition to these traditional course offerings, we also present several field-specific courses in AutoCAD, Airport Geomatics, C++ Programming, Computer Networking, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Java Programming, Mobile Application Development, Project Management, Substation Transformer Diagnostics, Systems Engineering, and Water Resources.
For our students – we aim to please. CEEP allows for flexible and convenient educational opportunities in certificate programs, specialized career enhancement, superior training, and individual growth, as well as our tailored in-house and/or on-site instruction for our community’s corporate needs. CEEP commonly delivers courses in the time-honored and mostly preferred methods of hands-on/in-class/in-lab/interactive lectures and presentations. Striving to continue supporting our students in anyway we can, we reinforce our lengthy courses with Online Blackboard Shells, which essentially serve as students’ primary connection to instructors, their notes, presentations, problems and solutions, forums, news, and additional learning tools.
