Check your University ID badge -- it may have expired

Here's how to update your card

DENVER and AURORA, Colo. - Many university-issued faculty and staff photo identification (ID) cards have expired. Out-of-date cards could limit your access to secured facilitites on campus.

This is for employees based on the Anschutz Medical Campus. And, for Denver Campus employees with dual-location badges that were issued at the Anschutz Medical Campus.

Here's how to check to see if yours is valid:

--The correct card is white with a blue strip across the top, and the red strip on the bottom that designates your status as a faculty or staff.

--On the right side of your ID card, opposite your photo, there should be a date in this format: 00/00/00. If the date is past, your card has expired. If the date is coming up soon, please  plan now to get your badge updated.

The University Badging Office is located in Building 500 on the Anschutz Medical Campus. For more regarding how to obtain or update your university badge check the information online

Anschutz Medical Campus Badging Office hours are Monday - Friday.

Campus Police remind everyone that updated badges are an important security and awareness tool on our campuses.
