The University of Colorado is a diverse teaching and learning community that creates, discovers and applies knowledge to improve the health and well-being of Colorado and the World.
Educational Support Services (ESS) provides centralized technical (videoconferencing, webconferencing, classroom recording, and audiovisual support) and logistical support for the three-part mission (education, patient care, and research) and the Total Learning Environment Strategic Goals of the university in a cost efficient manner.

We provide the educational programs with a variety of services through solutions and devices that enhance the quality and facilitation for effective educational interactions between faculty, staff and students, as well as administrative and continuing education programs for health professionals.
Educational Support Services is an Auxiliary Service Unit, meaning we are not supported by state funds to provide support services for much of the provision of services requested. A fee schedule for each of the services identified is available for viewing on the service related pages. We do receive some state funding for a limited amount of classroom support – but all non-classroom support is provided on a fee-for-service basis.
If you have any questions regarding fees, please contact Betty Charles at 303-724-1558.
