CU Online Courses and Degrees

Karen Campbell
I re-entered CU Denver last August as a "senior" senior to finish my Sociology degree. I am 65 and have attended CU in various eras ('70s and '90s) while working full time and raising five children who are all college graduates. This time is my time as I have taken an early retirement from the federal government. I am busy with all other fun things, and travel now at my leisure and I love the fun and sometimes fairly intense online classes! I have earned great grades and hope to finish sometime this year.”

Rasha Sarhan
I'm a single mother who is working full time as a pharmacist and enrolled in the non-traditional online PharmD program. So, I'm everything: the mom, the dad, fixer-upper around the house, take my daughter to doctor's appointments, buy things, cook things. I work in a challenging hospital environment four days per week and one day in a community pharmacy. In the midst of all that, I'm fulfilled by my academic success and my loving daughter who is full of appreciation for what I do.”

Choose your own schedule

What makes CU Denver’s online program different (and kind of awesome) is that you can choose your schedule.

Not just between online AND on campus (which makes CU Denver unique).

But rather, you can choose your schedule to balance school with work and family obligations. Without having to give up:

  • Quality (the same faculty teach online who teach on campus)
  • Options (450 online courses and over 20 full online degrees)
  • Success (students who take an online class are 1.5x more likely to graduate)
  • Reputation (whether you take classes online, on campus, or both, you receive the same CU degree)

So, whether you take your online courses in Colorado, or anywhere around the world, you'll receive the relevant knowledge and skills you need, while keeping the schedule you want to keep.

Renee Brady

CU student Renee Brady quit a lucrative career and returned to school to start all over again. She's graduating with honors from CU with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. And did it all while adopting two foster children, working in a hospital as an Certified Nurses Aide, and spending 100's of hours volunteering with other organizations.
