Mile High Healthy Relationships Alliance is a comprehensive child and youth-centered project funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women, that addresses domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking with students, families, and communities.
goal of the Mile High Alliance is to create long lasting and systemic change in our
school communities so that ALL children feel safe, welcome, and supported. We do this through a
combination of prevention, intervention, advocacy and treatment services as
well as education for school staff and
consultation around trauma sensitive school climates.
The five core service partners are responsible for delivering intervention, prevention, treatment, and response services to four high-need partner schools in DenverSchools participating in Mile High HRA to develop the capacity to better work with students who experience trauma due to interpersonal violence.
