Offered by the School of Public Affairs, University of Colorado Denver, the EPML program can be taken as either a stand-alone graduate certification program or as an emphasis area within the school’s Master of Public Administration curriculum.


Students completing the EMHS concentration program will have the knowledge and skills necessary to assess and manage a broad range of hazards and disasters, and to understand the policy environment in which emergency management occurs.


  • Green Criminology

The Masters degree in Criminal Justice, founded in 1972, is a rigorous academic program. It helps upper-level managers and administrators develop their critical thinking skills and will provide you with an interdisciplinary perspective on criminology and the criminal justice system. Green Crimonolgy focuses in the areas of environmental crime and deviance, environmental regulation, and environmental justice. The coursework examines the various ways criminologists can contribute to the study environmental problems while focusing on issues of race and class.   • Sustainable Urban Infrastructure
