Laurie Manderino




Ms. Manderino has more than 20 years experience as a policy consultant addressing environmental and sustainability issues for local, national, and international agencies, including the US Environmental Protection Agency, US Agency for International Development, and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. 


Ms. Manderino holds a B.A. in Business Administration, an M.S. in Finance and has worked on long-term projects in Europe and Africa.  




Ms. Manderino is a research fellow funded by the National Science Foundation for study of sustainable urban infrastructure.  Her thesis research examines national-level institutional and governance environments and how they contribute to the extension of water and sanitation services in low-income countries.  The focus is on: (a) decentralized services; (b) sector-wide strategic planning and investment coordination; and (c) civil society engagement.
