Bio: Professor deLeon has her M.A. from the University of Hawaii and her Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles. Prior to coming to SPA, Dr. deLeon wason the faculty of the School of Public Administration at the University of Southern California's School of Public Administration and, later, director of human resources for a private sector firm . She presently teaches courses in public management, human resources, and research methods. Professor deLeon's current research interests include post-bureaucratic organizations and internet-mediated civic engagement.
