The Colorado CPM Program is a nationally accredited comprehensive management development certification. It offers participants the skills-based knowledge necessary to improve themselves and their organizations. It is designed for leaders in government and the non-profit sector. This includes management leaders and supervisors at all levels of government - federal, state and local - as well as those working in special districts, as city clerks, in emergency services, or in any other related field where serving the public is a primary interest.
Through a combination of online and in-residence sessions, professionals of all educational backgrounds gain the knowledge and skills they need to become stronger leaders, managers, and supervisors. They will better understand work processes and learn how to encourage innovation and new approaches to problem solving in public and non-profit organizations.
The goal of the program is to deliver well-trained public managers into the workforce in order to enhance public service. All program courses are designed to bring out the highest level of performance and ethical foundations in all of our students. Designation as a Certified Public Manager® is a nationally recognized certification.
Graduate credits are available to CPM graduates interested in pursuing a Master in Public Administration through CU-Denver's School of Public Affairs.
