Position
What I do: I provide pre-award grant support and limited post-award grant support to faculty, staff and students in the school. I coordinate proposal activity within the school and serve as a liaison between the school and the Office of Grants and Contracts for pre-award activities.
Contact me when: You need to prepare a grant proposal. I can assist in various elements of the preparation process including the preparation of the budget, preparation of proposal forms, providing boiler plate language and occasionally drafting administrative sections of the proposal. I am responsible for routing the proposal through the CSPH and the Office of Grants and Contracts. I assist with the final proposal review. I prepare requests to establish subcontracts on funded projects. I can provide guidance on F&A waiver requests and will prepare the justification if needed. I can run financial reports to review spending and determine grant balances.
