The College of Arts & Media strives to provide artistic events
of quality, importance, and relevance to serve the intrinsic student, faculty
& staff communities of the College and CU Denver, as well as the broader
community of the Denver Metro region. This
year’s Guitar Festival will feature a day of educational workshops open to the
public and performances by a special guest artist and CU Denver faculty. The
guest artists are chosen from a wide variety of genres, not limited to any
particular discipline, approach or musical doctrine.
CU Denver's Guitar Festival is a returning event on the Auraria Campus featuring CU Denver faculty and special guest artists. The Music and Entertainment Industry Studies (MEIS) program is co-sponsoring these internationally known artists to teach workshops, give master classes and perform on the Concert Hall stage.
