Dean’s Message to all CAM Faculty and Staff
Thank you for a terrific semester!
1) “studio” is being mailed as I write this note. Here’s a digital copy. Bravo
2) Last night (122216) the Denver Post put up the link with the Michael Seman
interview. It's on the front page of their digital edition--and we are told that it
will be on the front page of the Sunday (122516) Entertainment Section in
print. This is an especially good "break"--getting print coverage on a major
holiday, when a major newspaper is generally passed around and discussed.
Thanks to Leanna Clark’s team and the CAM Communications staffers (Bill
Lewis and Tanida Ruampant) for making this happen. I also want to thank
Provost Nairn for helping shape and then approve this unique position that
brings Michael Seman to CU Denver.
Update: Michael was contacted by the NEA about this interview—as it is
going viral across the country.
3) Thanks to everyone who came to Graduation and the CAM Graduation
Reception at the Courtyard Marriott. It was great to see so many faculty and
staff—and to honor the Outstanding Student, Sidney Clapp--who has landed a
position with Colorado Creative Industries.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at 9:30 am Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 for the
Faculty and Staff Recognition Ceremony in the Terrance Room of the Lawrence
Street Center, and then again on Thursday, January 12th, 2017 at 9:30 am in the
Community Theatre of the Tivoli Building for the CAM Faculty and Staff Meeting.
